What a difference in the colors, depths and clarity of my picture. I have a Pioneer Elite Pro-111FD. Although what I enjoyed about this over any other TV I have owned or seen before, is that the colors are so real and not over-saturated, and it has been improved 10 times over with professional calibration.
Gregory Erianne is incredibly knowledgeable, and thorough. He imparted his wisdom to every question I posed, and did so humbly and completely. I will never go back to using any other setting outside of the ISF settings, as I am truly spoiled!! When I’m watching anything, an interview, a movie, a sporting event, or a regular evening program… I feel like they are sitting in the room with me. I never thought I would be able to see varying shades of black, but the shadow detail and clarity has blown me away! Especially with blue-ray content, the blacks have never been so black. I never thought black could get any blacker! Subsequently, shadow detail and colors are so much more realistic, like I’ve never seen before.

I read more reviews that all said how great he was and what a professional, so I went ahead and emailed him. Even though I’m in MA and he is in CT he was very willing to come two and half hours to do the TV calibration for us. From his first to his last email Greg has been so honest, knowledgeable, and professional. He arrived early and was very pleasant right from the beginning, I was kind of leery letting a stranger come into my home but he was very courteous of “wearing booties” on the carpet, and made sure all his equipment was on his own tiles that we were so impressed. Tom C., Worcester, MA – “I recently purchased a new PJ, The Sony VPL-VWPRO1, and after breaking in the lamp I decided to have a professional cal done so I knew the PJ was performing it’s best. After some forum and google searching I found http://www.allhighdef.com/ and gave them a call. I talked to a gentlemen by the name of Greg Erianne who was very easy to talk to and answered all my questions about what to expect. He sent me an email with a form to fill out asking all the pertanent questions about my equipment such as what model of PJ I had, what cable/sat equipment I had and what BD player I owned along with some other questions about my HT. After filling out the form and sending it back to him I recieved his reply the next day. He said he could do the cal which would include 2 inputs, one for my sat box and one for my Oppo BD player and also what that would cost. I am not sure if it is kosher to post a price so if interested PM me and I will let you know. I will say that it was very reasonable and the best price I got after talking to 3 different places. After I emailed him back and agreeing to have the the cal done he set it up for yesterday at noon. He was coming from a little more than 2hrs away from me and he showed up 15 minutes early which to me was great because I am one to be on time and was glad to see so was he. He had a good deal of equipment and for a second I though he was moving in. He said that the whole process would take 4-5hrs which I was surprised at because I was thinking that it would be less than that but once he started to setup all his equipment I started to see that this was no simple process. I didn’t want to get in his way but he assured me that he would be happy to have me watch the process and answer any questions I had. He showed me everything he was doing and even though I don’t understand much of it he took the time to explain it to me and show me the results on his laptop and on my screen. He also updated the firmware on my Oppo for me by USB which I didn’t expect but was happy he did. It was a very enjoyable experience. After about 5 1/2 hrs he was finished and the results were fantastic. The pic was outstanding and I could not have been happier. I really want to thank Greg for a job well done and his patience with me in the process. If you are in the hunt for a professional video cal for your PJ or flatscreen in the MA, CT, NJ area I highly recommend Allhighdef and Greg for the Job. Thanks Greg I really enjoyed the experience. I got the OK to post the price so it was $325.”

Greg arrived on time with a car load of equipment which he uses in the calibration process… After I purchased the TV I tweaked the settings to my own personal tastes which I was compfortable with, I usually watch TV only at night and prefer the backlight and contrast toned down alot and in my opinion it looked good.
Well, when Greg completed the calibration I couldn’t beleive my eyes at the difference in the clarity, and the natural color of the picture especially when he played a Blu-ray disc it looked very 3-D on this 2-D TV! Greg spent about 4.5 hrs. meticulously adjusting setting after setting, if he wasn’t happy with the way it looked he went back and did some fine tuning until he felt satisfied with the results! A true professional in my book! In regards to the cost of the calibration it was worth every penny spent! Thanks again Greg for all your hard work and dedication in what you do, the results are truly amazing!”

Robert B., Middletown, CT – “I had my Samsung LN55C650 LCD flat panel TV calibrated by Greg Erianne of All High Def (allhighdef.com) of Watertown, CT. I had been a bit skeptical of what the calibration could accomplish, given the erratic quality of picture content from TV sources, whether delivered by cable or satellite or antenna. By that I mean the sometimes dramatic differences in lighting, hue, contrast etc from scene to scene even within the same show.
After having the set calibrated, I am convinced that it was well worth the very reasonable expense. As I now understand, having the set’s picture tuned to a steady and accurate baseline for grayscale, white balance, gamma, custom color space etc greatly reduces my need to tweak settings while watching a show, a habit which has always driven my wife crazy.
Yes, I may still bump the backlighting up or down a bit, or adjust the tint to get the most natural-looking picture, but I find myself doing that much less than before, and most of the time I am delighted by how fine and true the picture looks “as is” and other than that occasional adjustment of lighting or hue, I can relax and leave all the other settings alone. Freed from obsessive tweaking and re-tweaking, I am now enjoying and appreciating this fine TV more than I ever expected to. Whether I’m watching TV or DVD the picture looks great all the time.
And Greg Erianne impressed me and my wife considerably with his professionalism and attention to detail. We do not take it lightly when inviting a new person into our home. Greg arrived at our house right on time, and was very pleasant and interesting to talk with. He then went straight to work, and about 4 hours later had completed a full calibration, complete with printed documentation of the before-and-after settings as well as a full “lab bench” report showing before and after results for RGB Balance, Gamma Point, Gamma Luminance, Color Temp, Gamut CIE and DeltaE 1994.
More important, to me, was what my eyes saw; I don’t pretend to be as technically knowledgeable as many of the posters here, but I know what I like, and I really like the picture I’m seeing on my TV – I thought that I liked it already, but now I can see an undeniable improvement and stability.
One last thing: I’m a subscriber to Netflix streaming video over my home’s wi-fi network, but had been greatly frustrated by an inability to adjust basic settings like color level or brightness when watching a Netflix movie. Greg set up both Day and Night versions of calibrated settings for when my TV is streaming Netflix movies, AND showed me how I can modify those settings as needed. I could not be a more satisfied customer, and would without hesitation recommend his services to anyone in Greg’s service range, which I believe encompasses parts of Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey.”

Don’t be fooled into thinking that you just have to take your new Plasma TV home and plug it in and voila “great HD experience.” The truth is that in order to truly enjoy the HD experience you need to have your HDTV calibrated by a professional in order to get the truest blues, the mind-blowing reds, the eye popping yellows and soothing greens and all the vibrant colors in between that you want and expect. The factory settings just do not cut it.
As part of the calibration process Greg took into account where our TV was located, the light source in the room during the day and at night, the viewing dimensions, room dimensions etc. and then adjusted our TV accordingly. My family and I are truly amazed with the difference in the picture quality after the calibration as compared to before calibration.
If you have invested in a new HD television you owe it to yourself to maximize your HD experience by getting your TV calibrated. The fee charged by All High Def, LLC is very fair and insignificant to the absolute joy that you will experience by having Greg Erianne perform his magic by calibrating your TV.
In addition Greg consulted with us on the surround sound system and Blu-ray player(finding us a true winner) along with the Logitech controller that seamlessly integrates all of our systems and streamlined our viewing options into a simple press of one button.
Greg took his time with us and listened to what we wanted to achieve and answered all of our questions (perhaps more than once) and then made it happen. We would highly recommend Greg Erianne and All High Def, LLC to anyone interested in elevating their viewing experience.
